Protecting What Matters,

at a Price You Can Plan For

Every service below comes with a clear cost up front, so you can take care of the people you love without wondering what it's going to cost you to do it.

Estate Planning on a Flat Fee

You've got a house, a car, some savings, maybe a few things that matter more than they're worth on paper, and you assume it's obvious who should get what. It usually isn't, not to a court, and sometimes not to your family either.

Last Will & Testament

You don't need a fortune to need a will. You need people you care about and things, big or small, that you'd rather decide about yourself than leave to chance. A will is where you put that in writing: who gets what, who you trust to carry it out, who looks after your kids if it ever came to that. We'll help you say it plainly, the first time, so it holds up when your family needs it to.

$500 Retainer to start

Total $700

You're recovering from surgery and can't get to the bank, and the mortgage payment is due next week. Someone needs to be able to pay that bill, deposit a check, or talk to your insurance company on your behalf, and right now, legally, no one can, because you never gave anyone that authority in writing.

Durable Power of Attorney – Finances

A financial power of attorney names someone you trust to manage your money and property if you're ever unable to do it yourself: paying bills, managing accounts, handling property, whatever needs tending to while you can't. It's not about giving up control. It's about making sure things keep running when life gets in the way, in hands you chose ahead of time.

$500

You're unconscious after a bad fall, and the doctors need someone to make decisions about your care right now. Without paperwork on file, that job can fall to whoever happens to be in the room, not necessarily the person you'd have chosen.

Durable Power of Attorney – Medical /
Patient Advocate Designation

Who speaks for you if you can't speak for yourself? For most people, that question has an obvious answer already: a spouse, a sibling, a close friend. This document makes it official. It names the person you trust and gives them the standing to act on your behalf, so your care stays in hands you chose rather than whoever happens to be in the room.

$500

A car accident, a stroke, a sudden diagnosis: any of these can leave you unable to speak for yourself, sometimes for a few hours, sometimes much longer. In that moment, the people who love you are left making medical decisions under enormous stress, often without knowing what you would have wanted.

Advance Directive

Doctors will ask your family questions in a room you're not able to answer from. An advance directive answers those questions ahead of time, in your own words, so nobody has to guess what you would have wanted or carry the weight of guessing wrong. It's a short document that does a big job. We'll ask you the questions that actually matter and put your answers into something your care team and your family can both rely on.

$500

One day, comfort will matter more than treatment, and the people around you will want to get that right. If they've never heard you say what comfort actually looks like to you, they're left guessing during one of the hardest weeks of their lives.

End of Life Wishes

Most people put this off, not because they don't care, but because it's a hard conversation to start alone. So don't start it alone. Tell us how you want to be cared for, who you want in the room, what comfort means to you, and we'll help you get it into writing, clearly enough that your family can spend their energy on being with you instead of decoding what you meant.

$500

You're planning a wedding, not a legal negotiation, but you're each bringing something worth protecting into the marriage, a business, a home, retirement savings, an inheritance, and you'd rather talk it through clearly now than guess at each other's expectations later.

Prenuptial Agreement

A prenuptial agreement puts what's yours, what's theirs, and what becomes shared once you're married in writing, before the wedding, so you both start on the same page instead of assuming you already are. It's not a sign of doubt. It's a plan you build together that protects the relationship as much as it protects what each of you brings to it. We'll help you both put it in plain language you actually understand, with plenty of time before the big day.

Estate Planning - Packages

Retainer to get started is $500. Payment plans available for the remainder!

You already know you need to name your wishes and name who will carry them out. What you don't want is to handle that as two separate errands, on two separate days, for two documents that really belong together.

Medical Planning Package

Your advance directive names what you want. Your patient advocate designation names who makes sure you get it. They work best as a pair, which is why we bundle them: both documents, one price that reflects doing them together instead of twice.

$800

You know you need a will, a power of attorney, an advance directive, the whole set, and you'd rather not build it one document and one appointment at a time.

Estate Plan Package

This is the whole picture, in one place: who you trust to make decisions, how you want to be cared for if you can't say so yourself, and what you want to leave behind for the people and causes that matter to you. It's our standard estate plan package, a complete, thoughtfully built set of documents at one flat fee, so you know exactly what you're getting and what it costs before you start. For most people, it covers everything they need.

Your family doesn't quite match a standard template: property in two states, a child who needs extra financial protection, or a wish to split things unevenly for reasons that make complete sense to you. A one-size plan doesn't fit that.

Custom Estate Plan

Some situations call for more flexibility than a standard package can offer: property spread across more than one state, unequal inheritances among your children, a beneficiary who needs extra care and planning. The custom estate plan starts with the same solid foundation as our standard package, then we work with you to adjust it until it actually fits your life, billed at $250 an hour for the time that customization takes. You'll know upfront what's standard and what's bespoke, so there are no surprises either way.

Hourly Services

Your parent's memory has started slipping, bills are going unpaid, and you're the one showing up every week to sort it out. The problem is, showing up isn't the same as having the legal authority to actually step in and help.

Establishing a Guardianship / Conservatorship

Watching someone you love lose the ability to manage their own care or their own finances is hard enough without a confusing court process on top of it. Guardianship and conservatorship give you the legal footing to step in and help. We prepare and file the paperwork that gets you there: the petition, the filings, the documents the court requires to establish you as guardian or conservator. From there, carrying out that role day to day is yours. We'll make sure the setup is done right, in language that doesn't require a law degree to follow, so you walk into that responsibility on solid legal ground.

$500 Retainer

You own a home and a rental property, and you'd like both to go straight to your kids without months tied up in probate court, or your family's finances becoming part of the public record. You'd also rather your youngest not receive their share in one lump sum the day they turn eighteen.

Trust Creation

A trust lets you set the terms now for how your assets are managed and passed on, sometimes with more control and more privacy than a will alone provides. We draft the trust, explain exactly how it works, and name who you want managing it. Once it's set up, it's yours: most clients serve as their own trustee, or hand that role to someone they trust, and take it from there without needing us involved in the day to day.

$500 Retainer

You were named trustee for a family member's estate. Between your job and your own kids, you know you don't have the time or the expertise to manage investments and distributions responsibly for the next fifteen years.

Trust Administration

Some clients would rather the firm take on the ongoing work itself, acting as trustee, not just setting the trust up. If that's the arrangement you want, we handle the job on a continuing basis: managing assets, keeping records, communicating with beneficiaries, making distributions on schedule, and filing what needs to be filed, year after year. It's the difference between building the trust and running it, and this is us running it, for as long as you need us to.

$2000 Retainer

Your mother passed away last month, and now there's a stack of court paperwork on the kitchen table that has to get filed before her estate can be settled, on top of everything else you're already carrying.

Probate Administration

Grief doesn't leave much room for court filings and deadlines, so we try not to make you hold both at once. We handle the probate process, the paperwork, the timelines, the parts that make you feel like you need a translator, and keep you informed in plain terms the whole way through. You shouldn't have to become a legal expert while you're still missing someone.

$2000 Retainer

You're not sure your situation matches anything else on this page, and you're not sure who to ask.

Other Services

Not everyone's situation fits neatly into a list. If what you need doesn't quite match anything above, tell us what's going on and we'll figure out together what kind of help makes sense, and what it should reasonably cost.
